Why wouldn’t my doctor prescribe the medication I wanted?

All medications have side effects, so the doctor you chat with will only prescribe meds they feel will help you feel better. For example, the doctors will not prescribe antibiotics if you have a viral infection, as antibiotics are only effective for bacterial infections. This practice helps protect you from side effects and everyone from antibiotic resistance. Also, in compliance with state laws and medical best practice, our affiliated doctors do not prescribe controlled substances, psychiatric medication, birth control, hormone therapy, lifestyle medication or certain excluded medications including Carisoprodol, Butalbital, Tramadol, and Viagra.
